Authentic 1950s Canadian Civil Defense Wool Blanket – Brand New
These are genuine Canadian military-issue Civil Defense blankets, manufactured in Canada throughout the 1950s and early 1960s. Our current lots are dated 1951, 1954, 1957, 1959, and 1961 — all brand new, never issued.
Each blanket is crafted from soft, heavy wool (5–6 lbs each) and measures approximately 60" x 80" to 85.5" x 62.5". Choose your preferred shade of grey and lettering style (DND or EHS stenciling in black).
DELUXE Version – 1954 & Older (Limited)
Our Deluxe blankets are dated 1954 and earlier — 100% wool, thicker, larger, and in exceptional condition. We hand-select these for you. Extremely rare: we find roughly 1 in every 100 blankets.
