I ordered a 38 waist (unknown length). The britches that I received are a bit snug & measured out at a 37 inch waist. Their is no taper to the legs, mine measured at over 11 inches wide. The pants material is a bit stiff but I foresaw that and expect them to soften some with wear & time. These are perfect for around the house or beach wear. Neat surprise, the two front pockets are double lined with the same material as the pants and made to last. Both pockets have a small gap at the side seam. I thought at first they were teensy pockets but instead are open at the bottom; perfect for carrying around a wrench or two. The price seemed a bit steep but I predict that with proper care, these pants will last a very long time.

This is a great REAL DEAL surplus store! I spent a couple hours looking through everything and found genuine NOS WW2 surplus at extremely reasonable prices! After talking with the friendly staff and hearing about their warehouse I'm beginning to think it's the "Bannerman's" of our time! Buffalo is so lucky to have one of the last and biggest Surplus stores in our city! The only recommendation I would make is to have a "hardware store" section, there is a ton of people like me who are actively looking for workshop supplies and with the DIY and Maker movements going strong I really think if you grouped all you hardware type things together it would be worth your time especially if you have things like tool boxes, tool rolls, hinges, handles and other hardware but also stuff that us Makers can repurpose like wood crates and discounted worn out/broken stock that we can buy and strip useful stuff off!

Awesome heavy wool blanket, as soon as you wrap it around you can feel the warmth. Did I mention heavy, never held a blanket of this size that weighs as much, should do the trick for winter campout or just colder. I liked it so much I ordered another one this time went for gray purple color. The Grey with Black stripe in middle was in great shape like made last year not 70 years ago. Had a little smell of surplus I think from tent that was in same box, no plastic wrap but I am sure airing it out will fix it, but I believe smell came from tent in box with it. 50% sale was awesome 👍
