My whole luggage system has always been military surplus; primarily USGI and Bundeswehr gear. USGI improved duffles, the old school top closure ones, German versions, you name it. Affordable, utilitarian, and stylish in their own way. I found myself without a toiletry bag and since I often try and fit larger bottles of stuff like shampoo and liquid soap in my old one, plus eyeglass cases and things, I needed a larger bag that had loops in it to fit numerous things. This bag was perfect, the nylon is great and it has that signature dark greenish/black Bundeswehr color to it I love. Plenty of loops inside to secure qtips, razors, toothpaste and brushes, etc. In fact I liked it so much I had to come back and buy another, because it also makes for a great EDC/mini-tool bag.
There’s a loop on the outside that you can attach a carabiner to, so you can attach the bag itself to a duffle; that way it isn’t taking up space on the inside alongside your clothes, and it’s easy access if you are in the middle of traveling and need to get at something quickly within it.
